foo_input_alac 1.0.7: 121x realtime ALAC decoding speed
fb2k 1.1.10b1: 221x realtime.

and ffmpeg x64 (libavcodec 53.28.0): 167x realtime.

And foobar2000 v1.1.10 beta 2 has been released. This update addresses various security issues in the new ALAC decoder and introduces a workaround for the infamous Asus Xonar volume control bug.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

foobar2000 version 1.1.10 final was released on 2011-12-02. “Various stability issues have been addressed since the last beta version. Updating from any older version is highly recommended.” Get it at the usual place!
