I guess the only solution to broadcast with foobar2000 is to downgrade to version 0.9.5 and use edcast 3.1.21 & icecast2/shoutcast........
Thats my setup for now but... Who wants to downgrade ? ):

For Shoutcast, here's the latest foo_edcast plugin: edcast_foobar_3.1.21.exe (mirror).
You must enable it in the DSP manager. It still works with the current foobar version and will only crash occasionally, e.g. when shutting down foobar without first stopping the stream.
For AAC+ support, here's the required dll: enc_aacplus.zip (only supports 64kbit, I think).

For me, edcast saves the config- and log-files to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local.
You could try to run foobar with admin privileges to see if write access is the problem.

Well i tried with admin privilages before - but i solve this problem now. I had "portable" installation of foobar so that was the problem. When i reinstall it to "normal" installation everything works fine now.

thx all

Is edcast still relevant and does it work with the latest foobar version?

Yes, it is working, i have just tested on 2 PCs. But i have the problem similar to yours:
Launching the Foobar v1.x.x + Edcast 3.1.21, add encoders, fill-in the parameters (streams,passwords,et.c..), working..
After closing and restarting the Foobar, the Edcast's parameters are reset to defaults.
After checking, I noticed that each time Foobar is closed, the files dsp_edcast_1.cfg, dsp_edcast_2.cfg (et.c. - depends on how many encoders had been added) - they are deleted automatically! Only dsp_edcast_0.cfg kept undeleted.
I tried to backup and copy the above files, but each time they are deleted with Foobar closure.
I tried to set "Read only" attributes to above files, this case they are not deleted, but Foobar reports "Error writing configuration file"... "Configuration file could not be written (File is read-only)"...

Above problem is with Foobar versions 1.x.x only, the old versions 0.9xx work well.

Please help anybody.
