popup plus: displaying %time_elapsed% in real time

hi foobar masters,

i am using popup plus, which i love as replacement for the default notification. however, i would like the popup to display in real time the total time elapsed on the current track.  to illustrate, my popup displays for about 10 seconds. in those ten second that popup only displays the time elapsed at the point when the popup was initiated. during that 10 seconds, i'd ideally like to see the time change as the song is played? make sense?

any way to do this?

here is my formatting

[[%tracknumber% ]%title%]$crlf()
[%artist%$crlf()]
[$crlf()%album%] [/ %date%]
[$crlf()[%_time_elapsed% / ]%_length%] / [%codec%] / [%bitrate%]

thanks in advance!

Does replacing %_time_elapsed% with %playback_time% update the elapsed time?
