I am looking for a FREE simple audio editor:
- no multitracking, - destructive editing, - simple operations & effects - cut/copy/paste/trim, amplify, maybe reverse, invert, saving and opening wave files. - Windows system - easy to use GUI Any suggestions? -------------------- Ceterum censeo, there should be an "%is_stop_after_current%".

What do you mean by "Audacity light?" Something free like Audacity but without multitracking which makes the program confusing for unexperienced people who just want to record and trim a wave file. what about wavosaur? Thanks, I'll have a look into it. -------------------- Ceterum censeo, there should be an "%is_stop_after_current%".

Wavosaur as previously mentioned or possibly WavePad. See http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-...ng-software.htm
