hello.
i have an Asus Xonar D1 audio card and i use foobar2000 to listen to mp3 and flac using the asio_out component from foobar2000 site. the sound quality is pure joy but when i play a youtube video or any other audio source the ASIO stops. the playback doesn't stop but instead of hearing the song now the audio is transferred to youtube video. how can i sort this out? thanks. |

ASIO doesn't improve sound quality. What it does do is provide exclusive output in the manner you've described.
If you don"t want exclusive output use the default directsound output. -------------------- "It must be 'Take A Worm For A Walk' week!"
