Don't know about other programs, but foobar2000 licence says that: "Only unmodified installers can be redistributed; redistribution of foobar2000 binaries in any other form is not permitted."

Just one of the reasons why gathering third-party (un)authorised software titles here and there is suddenly not going to turn you into a developer of sorts.

After all, people here at HA or outside it, either use those same programs (or their equivalent) already and are mostly happy with them, or they don't, and will fail to see why downloading so many titles (and as far as they know, some apparently unrelated to each other) will suddenly prove to be the all-in-one solution they were maybe (not) looking for.

Unless I've missed something which has been discussed before, this list IMHO, belongs at most, into a HA poll, nothing more than that.

all programs are original and not modified (codes are not modified)
Whats new: Lame3100a is the default encoder in this suite.
I give to the suite a generic name, don't care for the name and enjoy the collection!

mp3suite is a generic name, found another at http://sourceforge.net/projects/mp3suite/

I would assume that people who just want the "best" version of LAME for general-purpose encoding should not be using the alpha builds. These builds contain features and changes that are in flux and may not even be in the next release. They are for people who are testing these changes and searching for regressions from previous releases.

For example, as you can see in the changelog, the 3.100 alphas are testing some changes to deal with a particular problem sample. These changes may adversely affect other samples that were previously working well. It has happened before.
