iTunes-LAME application won't open under applications

After days of trying to fix this mess I got myself into, I finally got iTunes-LAME up and running with 3.98.4. However, there's still one little issue, and it's bugging me big time. Everything is fine. iTunes-LAME runs perfectly and encodes all my songs as desired. But here's my last issue. iTunes-LAME only opens under it's original download source. In my case, this is my Downloads folder. I want to move it to my Applications folder, but when I do that, then try to open LAME, it won't open. It only opens when it is under my Downloads folder. Any ideas?
