Win 7 64-bit + iTunes?

Has this worked for anyone else? I did install the 64-bit version of iTunes. It just says install failed. No explanation, no error code. I tried one of those "alternative" iTunes programs and it just destroyed my iPod. (Older 4Gb Nano)

So, anyone else get iTunes to work with 64-bit Windows 7?

Thanks;
Artie

Edit: Ah . . . I found on the Apple support site how to reset the Nano without losing any data. I now have my iPod "back". But I'd still love to know why iTunes won't install on Win 7 64.

Hey thanks. That actually worked. The "trick" is to install QuickTime first, as a separate app.
iTunes is now up and running.

Thanks man.
