I wonder if by using replay gain in foobar2000 the audio files may turn out being distorted, i mean if the wave amplitude is been modify, i think we are changing the way the sound originaly was recorded.

As long as you're just using the metadata-driven option (i.e., storing gain information in tags, rather than rewriting audio data), you should be fine.
