Fitting AT92E on Technics SL-D1

Can I expect any issues with the compliance of the cartridge when putting an Audio Technica AT92E on a Technics SL-D1?

The tonearm has an effective mass of 12g (without cartride). The recommended cartridge weight range is 6-9.5g and 13.5-14g (with 7.5g headshell weight).

The AT92E cartridge is 6g, and it is a "universal mount" meaning it is a P-mount with a 1/2 inch adaptor (thus I can use it on both my T4P and 1/2" tables).

Also what sort of ranges of effective mass are considered high, medium and low?
