Full treeview of folder structure in the album list possible?

I'd like to create autoplaylists based on folders, eg. incoming etc. Is it possible to get to see the full treeview of folder structure in the default album list component? So far I have been using the now abandoned(?) Playlist Bind, Id like to use autoplaylists instead.

How would the 'full treeview of folder structure' differ from the standard default album list - view by folder structure?

Im using latest version and I only see the last child folders containing files, not the parent folders. I tried this suggestion, but I was unsuccessful: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....st&p=585439

This may help, from Help>Titleformatting Help

Quote
$directory_path(X)    Extracts directory path from the file path X.    $directory_path(%path%)

For example: $directory_path(%path%)|%tracknumber% %title%

Thanks tpijag, I did not get that to work, must be doing something wrong. I entered that line with my folder path in the Search dialog and nothing happened.

Yes I do not know why you are doing that.

What I gave you is another entry to use in the album list view drop down selection box.

Go to Preference>Media Library>Album list> Views.

Add a new view - call it whatever you want - copy and paste what I gave you  do not change anything for the %path% just copy paste exactly
$directory_path(%path%)|%tracknumber% %title%

EDIT: In the album list panel you now have a new view to use.

EDIT2: I assume your failed result from post#3 may also result from incorrectly thinking this information relates to a search query. If so something like $directory(%path%, 2) will also work for you. Experiment with the value of the highlighted number and you will move within the parent/child structure.
Again, this syntax string is to build another album list view - added as stated above. And the %path% is typed literally as %path% it is not a placeholder for you to replace with something sure to break everything.

Thanks again tpijag  $directory(%path%, 2) worked. I thought it could be possible to do that from the search dialog as the other autolists I have were created there, eg. NOT %added% IS "" SORT DESCENDING BY %added%

I can now see you were kind of mixing up two questions in one. I paid more attention to the question embedded in the thread topic. As you have found, any level of the 'tree' structure in the album list can become an autoplaylist via the context menu.

glad it got sorted out.
