Feurio does detect that after a bit time consuming testing. I do not know how reliable it is though. Still it is a good idea to use Feurio to double check EAC.

If there is a 100% reliable method to determine how much audio the drive caches, then if it caches more than 62KB, that would be a perfect method to determine if the drive caches audio (no red bars on damaged discs) ...from the other side, determining how much the drive caches = determining if the drive caches
