Hotkey for selecting currently played track?

Hello,

I would like to control foobar2000 using a remote control. In particular I would like to be able to remove the currently played track from a playlist using the remote. However to be able to do that I would need a hotkey for selecting the currently played track. Is there a way to accomplish that or does anyone have another solution?
