can't install foobar2000, stuck registering "ShellExt32.dll&q

when i start the foobar2000 installer, it gets stuck registering "ShellExt32.dll" and sits there forever. what do?

Do you happen to have some over zealous security software - such as Comodo Firewall - that likes to block launching of programs inside programs? Operating system you are using shouldn't matter but could you tell which one you are using just in case?
