Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum section.
As stated in the title, I'd like to convert a large .tta file into several smaller .flac files using foobar2k (splitting). I have a .tta file and a .cue sheet. The cue sheet looks like this: REM GENRE Game REM DATE 2009 REM DISCID 8C0B5A0B REM COMMENT "ExactAudioCopy v0.99pb5" PERFORMER "Alstroemeria Records" TITLE "Plastik World" FILE "Plastik World.wav" WAVE TRACK 01 AUDIO TITLE "God Know Will You To Love From True" PERFORMER "Masayoshi Minoshima" INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO TITLE "Plain Asia" PERFORMER "綾倉盟" INDEX 01 01:58:47 TRACK 03 AUDIO TITLE "Wheel of Fortune" PERFORMER "綾倉盟" INDEX 01 07:08:59 TRACK 04 AUDIO TITLE "Saigetsu" PERFORMER "綾倉盟 + mican*" INDEX 01 11:08:58 TRACK 05 AUDIO TITLE "Plastik World" PERFORMER "三澤秋" INDEX 01 16:52:38 TRACK 06 AUDIO TITLE "m9" PERFORMER "Masayoshi Minoshima" INDEX 01 22:30:45 TRACK 07 AUDIO TITLE "Times" PERFORMER "三澤秋" INDEX 01 26:26:05 TRACK 08 AUDIO TITLE "Twilight Tea Room" PERFORMER "坂上なち" INDEX 01 31:31:26 TRACK 09 AUDIO TITLE "Outro" PERFORMER "Masayoshi Minoshima + Syrufit" INDEX 01 36:33:17 TRACK 10 AUDIO TITLE "Leading Phantasy" PERFORMER "美里" INDEX 01 38:06:22 TRACK 11 AUDIO TITLE "Bad Apple!! (Instrumental)" PERFORMER "Masayoshi Minoshima" INDEX 01 43:10:26 These are the actions i perform in foobar2k: 1.open both tta and cue files 2.try to convert into flac, level 5 3.select destination folder 4.Converter Status Report pops up Converter status report: 11 out of 11 tracks converted with major problems. Source: "C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\[ANISAB-TOUHOU] (C77) (同人音楽) (東方) Touhou Collection Batch C77 (tta+cue) Lossless\(C77)(同人音楽)(東方)[Alstroemeria Records] Plastik World (tta+cue) (by 台魔王REW55lV0XZ)\Plastik World\Plastik World.cue" / index: 1 Unable to open source file: Object not found Conversion failed: Object not found this message repeats 11 times I'd really like to convert this big tta file into smaller flac files, each track separated from eachother. As you can see, some artists/performer's names are written in japanese. i don't know whether or not it is the real problem. Some people said it may be that the .wav extension had to be replaced with .tta I tried converting it with dbpoweramp, which worked out pretty fine, although the tracks weren't split. My question: is it possible to convert AND split this tta+cue file into several flac files? Thanks in advance |

Try renaming the file or at least the directory to something shorter, you are very near hitting the total Windows path name limit (260 characters), which might cause problems.
-------------------- Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

Some people said it may be that the .wav extension had to be replaced with .tta And you didn't believe? It should work on foobar if you have a working TrueAudio decoder component installed and if foobar supports tta + cue. (I have never tried that combination.) i.e. FILE "Plastik World.wav" WAVE becomes FILE "Plastik World.tta" WAVE QUOTE I tried converting it with dbpoweramp, which worked out pretty fine, although the tracks weren't split. Alternatively you can convert the tta file to wav with dbpa, drag the unedited "wav" cue sheet to a foobar playlist, and convert the cue tracks to FLAC. i.e. FILE "Plastik World.wav" WAVE will then be correct. EDIT A new True Audio decoder for foobar2000 v.1 has been released a few days ago: http://true-audio.com/ This post has been edited by Alex B: Jan 27 2010, 18:09 -------------------- http://listening-tests.freetzi.com

QUOTE If you can covert than Medieval Cue Splitter should split it for you. Actually, I did try using that program. It skipped quite a few tracks, leaving me unsatisfied. QUOTE Alternatively you can convert the tta file to wav with dbpa, drag the unedited "wav" cue sheet to a foobar playlist, and convert the cue tracks to FLAC. That worked out perfectly! Thank you very much! m(_ _)m QUOTE It should work on foobar if you have a working TrueAudio decoder component installed and if foobar supports tta + cue. (I have never tested that combination) This method worked too! I had the plugin already installed, but the reason why i got so many errors was that i renamed it as .tta TTA. not as .tta WAVE xD Thanks for the help everyone! Hope you have a nice day/morning/evening, wherever you live. |
