[TOS #8] 24-bit 192khz Ogg Vorbis

I keep hearing 24/192 encoded music is just an exercise for ignorant, wannabe audiophiles. I must disagree. I can easily and always tell when a 24/192 song is playing. The music stands so tall in my headphones, while 16/44.1 or 16/48 encoded music lies trapped and flat. I have spent hours comparing this. It may be anecdotal, but so what. The only problem is the size of 24/192 lossless audio files. I have discovered a fix in converting 24/192 FLAC into 24/192 Ogg Vorbis! I have found only one converter that can do this in my J River 18 Media Center. Although Media Center cannot play the converted file if the bitrate is too high, only VLC can play with a bit rate that reaches 1500-1600 kps. if i choose a lower quality setting e.g. q-5.0 with a bit rate of 400-600 kps, J River can play it. The ogg vorbis keeps the bit depth and sample rate as the lossless file, so I get the best of both worlds!
