Is streaming over HTTPS supported?

Is there a way to force foobar2000 to accept the certificate?

i don't know if foobar will stream over https but have you tried installing the certificate yourself through internet explorer's options?

edit: i just remembered i have a flac file on my dropbox account and foobar plays it just fine over https. i guess they have a proper signed certificate from a trusted authority.

sorry to bump this.

My question actually was: can I force foobar2000 to accept a self-signed certificate?

It just plainly rejects any non-"proper signed certificate from a trusted authority"

I also tried adding the certifcate to IE's trusted ones.. Doesn't seem to help?

it's quite obvious from the lack of options that it wasn't possible. that's why i suggested adding the certificate through IE so it's trusted. if that doesn't work, i'm all out of ideas. you'll have to hope Peter/other developers read this.
