Plextools Problem

Hi all - I've just got the very lovely Plextor PX-W4012TA drive, which came with Plextools.

I've heard a lot of people singing its praises & I really want to use Plextools, but I've got a problem which prevents me.

Whenever I click "OK" after changing any options in the preferences panel (such as error correction method), Plextools instantly shuts itself down, minimizing to an icon in my system tray, which vanishes when my mouse pointer goes over it.

When I reopen Plextools, none of my settings changes have been saved, meaning that I simply can't make any changes to anything!! :'(

I've upgraded it to 1.16a and the problem is still there. I've also tried totally uninstalling and reinstalling it, all to no avail.

Any help would be, well, very helpful!!

Plextools has a shit fit over multiple MP3 codecs installed (i.e. Nimo's Codec Pack). Remove all MP3 codecs except one and the problem goes away. Lest it did for me
