I have been using VLC for some time with freinds home video clips etc, but thought that I would transfer a few of my favourite films onto the hard drive of my PC, then play them through my home cinema system. The soundcard I'm using is a M-Audio 2496.
I have used both DVD decrypter and DVDFab (as ripping software ONLY) to rip the dvd to my hard drive and both rips stutter very badly on the sound on both DD and DTS.When I play the DVD directly through VLC the same happens, but not on windows media player.I have tried the settings while playing the movie but no improvement.

So, can someone help me out, as I can't use Windows media player to play VOB files ???

Andy
