Just noticed a new version was released last month, but I think none of the usual binary providers have cottoned onto it yet. I believe when I last tried to look at compiling a Windows build myself - using CVS code - it turned out to be a lot more complicated than I hoped it would be. Cue idea quickly deflating and dying.

I just wonder whether it'd be possible to build a non-Cygwin version for one thing, seeing as having Cygwin DLLs surrounding the program all the time makes it a bit, well, bulky?

Thanks.

I already know about that site, and secondly he's still offering 1.2.2.

Funnily enough, I also sent him an e-mail last night (but in English)!

In the meantime though, I figured I'd try compiling again, this time with a stable release (1.2.3) rather than attempting to manually grab CVS code.

Thing is, I'd like to see if it's possible to compile the full set (including toc2mp3 and gcdmaster) this time, complete with MP3 and OGG support. But googling around still doesn't make it clear what other .tar.gz's I need to download and extract into my Cygwin/MinGW home directory. Any ideas?

Hi all,

I've compiled cdrdao 1.2.3 for windows, with OGG and MP3 support enabled. Binaries are available from my web site at http://fetal.de/cdrdao-1.2.3-binaries-for-windows.
You can leave comments at maurice-michalski.de.

The package includes LAME 3.98 binaries and libraries for MP3 support. Complete source code is included, too.

Kind regards,
moscht
