[Request] Move Tool with Filepath by Tags Options

afaik foobar doesnt support folder creating and pathnames depending on tags which would be very convenient to organise my library all at once
i have tried tag&rename to do this but it apparently couldnt handle ID3v2 tags
could anyone recommend me a better tool or plugin or implement it?

It does. Please make sure, that you have the foo_fileops plugin installed. It comes with the standard installer.

im using right click -> move and enter as as destination something like C:\Music\%artist%\%album\
is this wrong?

Then probably something is wrong with your file name pattern.

Yes. %artist%\%album%\ needs to be part of the file name pattern, not of the destination.

From the documentation:

Destination Folder: The root destination folder. You cannot use title formatting in this field, and the folder must already exist.

File Name Pattern: Specify how the files will be named, and indicate any subfolders (separated by '\'). Title formatting is allowed in this field, and any subfolder which does not exist will be created under the destination folder. The '...' button allows you to select from a set of preset patterns.
