Soundblaster live player 1024

I have a Soundblaster live player 1024,connected to my home stereo.
If buy a Soundblaster Audigy 2, will there be any sound improvements.
Anybody tried this?

In short: Yes, you will have improvements in sound quality, it depends on your ears and equipment if they will be notable.

If you connect through S/PDIF, there won't be any improvements in quality.
