I'm looking for a video player that will help me determine the frame number in an AVI file for a visual cue (e.g. an eye blink). It would be helpful if I could set start/stop playback boundaries as frame numbers, as well as vary the frame rate of the playback. Any ideas?

I found the answer to my question. VirtualDub is really good and looks like it would be useful for a lot of other AVI editing/processing tasks.
