Pause/resume playback on headphone plug/unplug

Windows 7 (and possibly Vista?) can detect whether or not an audio device is connected to the line-out jack with most common drivers. This is useful in laptops, where Windows keeps different volume levels for the laptop's internal speakers and for whatever device is connected to the line-in, so the volume will change when an audio device is plugged/unplugged.

tl;dr (because I'm sure I phrased this HORRIBLY), is it possible to have foobar act like this thing?

Hi there, I second the request - is anything out there which would add this feature to the Foobar? It would be very handy, as I need to switch my headphones quite often throughout the day (I use them for calling from my mobile as well).

Many thanks!

So how come you can't just pause your music before unplugging/putting on headphones? I don't think Foobar can connect on a driver level that way with all audio devices...
