EAC ripping error

EAC has begun to give a Read/Sync error on the very last second of the last song on a CD lately. I've tried with numerous CDs, and I get the same result every time. It rips perfectly with no errors until the very last second of the last track. The problem has only appeared recently, and the previous hundred or so CDs I ripped worked fine. AccurateRip verifies that there's actually an error.

The drive is an LG GCC-4480B, and I use Secure mode (plus various other options) for ripping. Any ideas?

If you have the overread into lead-in and lead-out option selected, try again without it.
