I used http://www.flvto.com/ a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to work too well most of the time in my browser. So, are there any other reliable sites anyone knows of? Thanks!
(All the better if they happen to use lame – I know, still depends on the original recording) |

If all else fails you could just use Fiddler and save the HTTP response body to disk and then afterwards just demux the audio stream with something like ffmpeg.
