How to fix it? Do you spend that much time in the preferences? To be honest, I guess I do, but the goal of spending time there is to improve the look of the software main window. I agree with you that the font is not beautiful, but it's functional, isn't that all we're asking from a config panel? I'd be surprised if there was a way to modify the font of the Preferences window. Maybe there is some hidden mod I don't know about that allows you to configure the config panel.
