Speaker cable thickness?

I have two Japan-made cables labeled 50x0.18mm and 30x0.18mm which means there are 50 and 30 wires in thickness of 0.18mm. Are there any tables/calculators to convert these information to AWG standard? Thanks!

I assume you can measure the diameter of the cables? Don't you just need to hunt about on wikipedia etc to find out the specs for AWG?

Under a minute of Googling leads to these, either of which will allow you to calculate the bundle diameter:

This table will then allow you to convert the bundle diameter to AWG:

Thanks for providing the calculation method in the first two links! Actually I have read about the table in wikipedia but I was thinking about thickness of individual wires vs total diameter of a cable, then I read about skin effect and realized that I cannot rely on either surface area of all wires or diameter of the whole cable.

Skin effect is pretty irrelevant to wires 12 gauge and smaller over the normal audio range.
