Virus in Foorbar2000?

I tried to post this on the Foorbar site but I don't have access....
I tried to unstall Foorbar2000 but I keep getting a NSIS error that saids it is unable to unstall that is possible due to a failed download or a virus. I don't think it would be due to a failed download because it installed and runs fine. It just won't uninstall. I feel kinda stupid for asking this, because I really dought it....but is it really possible there would be a virus in Foorbar2000? And how do I get Foorbar 2000 out of my system?

                                                        Thanks,

delete the foobar folder.  use regedit to clean all instances of 'foobar' from the registry if you need it excised entirely.  delete the shortcut and fb2k start menu folder.

What do you mean you have no access to fb2k forum? I don't see anything restricting your access.

I guess I'll erase and use regedit. Re-downloading it to use the uninstaller sounds like a good idea, but then I have to re-install the whole program on top of the other and I'd rather avoid that. Thanks for the suggestions!

Umm... lemme rephrase that...I have access to the forum but I can't post. I tried to start a new thread and it said that that I did not have permission to to start a new thread.

Did you try to start the thread in either fb2k General or fb2k Support forum. You can't start a thread in the fb2k-root forum.

oopss...sorry! My bad.    I was in a rush when I was posting today.

I decided not to delete fb2k...I was re-checking it out today...not bad! At first I was turned off by the lack of GUI, but I am starting to like it.  I don't know if it's just me but I think it might handle the Replaygain better and also my FLAC files might sound better on it. Hmm...now I have to decide between this or Winamp 2.91....decisions...

I do have one question though. Since my uninstaller is corrupted, is there a chance that there might be other components that are corrupted that would create errors to my FLAC files on play back? I hope this question doesn't sound stupid, I don't know alot about the tech side of audio. I am really protective over my flac files(it took me months to rip and encode) I would hate the thought of them getting corrupted after all that work. I know FLAC files continue to play even if there is an error but I want my files to be perfect with no flaws.

                                                  Thanks,

Well, you could always do a
FLAC -t  file.flac
to check for errors.
