WinDVD filter - Dolby Headphone/Virtual Speaker

This is the way, how to use the Dolby Headphone/Dolby Virtual DSPs, based on WinDVD DirectShow filter Intervideo Audio Processor FX, when using Zoom Player Pro.

In my opinion, Intervideo's implementation of the Dolby Headphone sounds better than the one implemented by CyberLink, but of course, you may find CyberLink's DH better than Intervideo's one.

So, this is how it goes for AC3:
- you need Zoom Player Pro
- you need Intervideo's WinDVD
- you need AC3Filter
- go to Player Options in the Zoom Player Pro
- Advanced Mode
- Filter Control
- Customized media playback
- check "Enable Customized Media Playback"
- "Audio & Video Decoders" bookmark
- from Audio Decoders - choose AC3
- configure
- place following filters there: AC3 From AVI XForm, then AC3Filter , then Intervideo Audio Processor FX
- next: if you want subtitles, you need to modify two video filters, DIVX5 and XVID, adding DirectVobSub filter in both cases on the second place; this is due to the DirectVobSub not being supported in the standard way, when "Customized Media Playback" mode is used
- than save your settings
- open the DIVX+AC3 file with the Zoom Pro Player
- the movie playing will start automatically
- the sound will be strange, because, I guess, its speed its divided by three; no need to worry about, go straight to the Filter Properties/InterVideo Audio Processor FX
- there you need to append InterVideo DownMix DMO module
- OK
- at this moment the sound should work properly
- once more edit InterVideo Audio Processor FX properties, go to the "Intervideo DownMix Property" bookmark
- choose either Dolby Headphone there or Dolby Virtual Speakers
- choose the right mode of the DH or DVS
- OK
- enjoy the sound from your favourite Dolby HeadPhone or Dolby Virtual Speaker Implementation

So, this is how it goes for 2-channel, for example - MP3:
- you need Zoom Player Pro
- you need Intervideo's WinDVD
- you need AC3Filter
- go to Player Options in the Zoom Player Pro
- Advanced Mode
- Filter Control
- Customized media playback
- check "Enable Customized Media Playback"
- "Audio & Video Decoders" bookmark
- from Audio Decoders - choose MPEG - Layer-3 Decoder
- configure
- append following filter there:Intervideo Downmix DMO, right after MPE Layer-3 decoder
- go straight to the Filter Properties/InterVideo DownMix DMO module
- OK
- choose either Dolby Headphone
- choose the right mode of the DH
- OK
- enjoy the sound from your favourite Dolby HeadPhone Implementation
