Setting up new LAME encoder

I've got EAC 0.9 beta 4 and the new recommended LAME 3.90.3 and im ready to rock.

I know you install the LAME.exe to the main EAC folder, but where do I extract the .dll file to? also what does it do???!!

Cheers for the help

You can basically put the .exe in any folder you like on your system, as long as you tell EAC in the encoder options where it is.

No need to put the .dll anywhere since EAC does not make use of it.

Oh yes and I almost forgot you can find loads of useful information and links to setting up EAC and lame in this thread:  http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....=ST&f=15&t=203&
