Hi!
I want to process files with a winamp DSP plugin, but so far I couldn't find an application that could do that. Foobar's converter didn't work when using the Winamp DSP wrapper. I tried a few players but so far only Xmplay could do this, but it's converter is ridiculous it only convert one file at a time...

I've not done this for a while but I think you just place your file in the playlist, go to Options/Preferences/Output and select the disk writing option. You then get to specify where the output should go. Then you select you process and just play your file

I think you're correct, botface, but that probably doesn't solve the part about batch processing that was hinted at by the OP.

It is possible to add several tracks to the Winamp playlist, and it will create WAV files for all tracks in the playlist.

I managed to get as far as changing the output, found one the puts out flac. Now the only problem is the total loss of metadata. And that it's still rather cumbersome, because I have to switch outputs to test the outcome.

Well you could use AutoIt to automate everything but testing...as that is something you'll have to do your self.
