This is the only receiver that I have found. It has a 3.5 mm male jack so you need to find a female to female adaptor.

AFAIK there isn't an apt-X Bluetooth receiver with a conventional headphone socket currently available. However, we are working directly with a company on a product that will have this capability. It's probably a few months away from commercial release. Regards, David Hi David, Can you tell more about this apt-X Bluetooth receiver with a conventional headphone socket? Has it been released by now? I'm looking for an apt-X Bluetooth capable receiver that could be used with my mobile audio setup (audio fed from mobile phone to IEMs). The receiver would have to be battery powered and relatively lightweight. The upcoming Nokia N9 transmits apt-X Bluetooth. Best Regards, atlantic Atlantic, There have been a few Bluetooth receivers released with apt-X capability that connect to conventional audio equipment using RCA phono / 3.5 mm jack. One is the QED uplay mentioned by Pri3st in a previous post. Another is the Chordette Gem from Chord Electronics http://www.chordelectronics.co.uk/products-info.asp?id=53 Note that neither of these receivers are battery-powered nor do they have a direct headphone out, so I guess they're still not exactly what you wanted for your original application. Regards, David |
