The best way is to rerip your CDs.  You can also transcode them, but you'll get lower quality.

More than likely, your player is compatible with mpeg-4 AAC files.  This means that it will play an AAC stream in an mpeg-4 container.  Putting a vorbis file in an AAC container wouldn't work.  As previously stated, you would have to either re-rip your CDs (or convert your lossless files) or transcode your current lossy library.
