Is there any way to make "pushed" buttons for menu commands like "Cursor follows playback" or "Monitor playing tracks", so I know if they are active/inactive?

using WSH panel mod, it's possible to make buttons for "cursor follows playback" and "playback follows cursor" because these properties are readable and settable via scripting.

i believe "monitor playing tracks" is part of foo_playcount so WSH panel mod can't really control it. although it can execute any arbitrary main menu commands, it's not possible to get the current state.

this isn't likely. WSH panel mod is developed by a third party and can only make use of certain core features provided in the foobar2000 public SDK.

i can probably knock up a script for cursor follows playback/playback follows cursor though. i'll post it in a day or two.

you need to install WSH panel mod and add a panel to your layout. http://code.google.com/p/foo-wsh-panel-mod/downloads/list

then put this script in the panel... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22801321/pushed%20buttons.txt

it looks like this....

it will not work on windows classic. any other theme (xp luna, aero on vista/7, any third party one) will work fine.
