Is there a program to test for CRC errors in an AAC file? Options

I use dbpoweramp to batch encode my music collection (in lossless quality) to various format. since I've acquired an ipad, I've been converting some of the tunes to AAC format.

The problem is that I believe dbpoweramp (which uses nero AAC encoder) sometimes encounter problems when converting the file. I know that when using FLAC, there in an app called "audio tester" to test files.

Is there something similar for AAC? thanks

I don't want to make you change everything and I am not replying to your question but why don't you set up foobar2000 with qaac so you will convert in AAC with the proven to be best and free AAC encoder (Apple)? You can ever set it up in a portable way (post #391).

I encode all my stuff with quality set to 1. doubt it would make a lot of difference if I use foobar or dbpoweramp. And you can deny the ease of use of dbpoweramp when encoding hundreds of tunes from different albums. so very easy to select. with foobar (from my experience anyway), I have to run encode for EVERY album. not so very convenient. and nero is a free encoder?
