Best portable mp3 player?!?

FONT=Times]Hey, i'm lookin to buy an mp3 player and was wondering what would be the best mp3 player on the market today? I want one that has like 20GB and can record from anything that produce audio like a minidisk. And it can hold up to like 5000 songs, and when u downloads songs from the computer and put it on the portable mp3 player it should take seconds

I would advise to check the latest iPods.
I don't know if they can record, though...

Check out Creative's Nomad 3. I don't own one, but it seems to do everything you want.
That's so plausible, I can't believe it.

The new iPods cant record yet, officially anyway. They do have a recording feature in the test mode menu's and it works, but you only get 6 seconds. It is rumoured that apple are going to release a mic or something for it in the next few months.
