Hardware suggestions

I'm about to upgrade my workstation, its getting used a lot lately for music playback & I'd like some advise on what components are available & worth paying for, currently it comprises:-

Audigy Platinum
Creative/Cambridge Audio 2:1
Geoforce 3 & Haupage tv card take care of that side of things

I've been thinking about changing the soundcard/speakers as I find the sound not quite good enough & this is the main music system in the office it sits in

The M-Audio Audiophile sounds nice - though I'd hate to loose the remote that comes with the audigy, even if it is only used to control the volume - as the music library software, though potentially great - just sucks. If the noticable sound difference, via pc speakers(cant have external components, space !) wouldn't be that different its not an upgrade worth making

Speaker wise - I hear good things about Klipsch's Pro-Media 2:1, at 130 uk pounds a little pricey - but there doesn't seem to be anything to compare, unless we jump up to small bookshelfs/monitors & an external amp - which I don't want to do.

Not gonna talk about headphones - as theres plenty of stuff n the forums about those.

Thanks up front

Daryl
