How to extract separate tracks from .ape image?

Hi, how can I extract separate tracks from .ape CD image?, I have the .cue files but the only way I currently know is to burn the image file and the rip the burned CD with separate tracks, I preferably want to extract the separate tracks directly from the .ape image without having to burn the images, is there a way to do this directly?, if I can extract to a different file format it would be great 'cause I want to convert the tracks to .mp3 V0 and store the lossless files for archival
Any comments appreciated

You can load the cuesheet into foobar2000's playlist and then convert the virtual tracks into real ones with the same software (right click/convert to...)

Or... you could use MakeAPL that you get with your Monkey's Audio. Then add those .apl files to Monkey's Audio, chose Convert and external codec LAME...

I just remembered... I have already made a 'guide' for this. Here
