Is there any way to draw text over a spectrum analyzer?
I'm in the process of modifying an existing skin, HybridView, to suit my needs, and what I really want is to have the spectrum analyzer at the top (this is done) with the track info drawn over it (not done). The skin draws track info using WSH, my old one used the traditional item details panel and I always had the same problem with that too. I can draw the spectrum panel on top of the text though so it's not exactly the end of the world, but not quite ideal. I could also use another way to draw the text but AFAIK only WSH can draw stuff on glass properly (=not additively). Searched the forums and elsewhere but couldn't find a solution - can it not be done? Also if there is any other way to get glass without having to use a prehistoric modded version of WSH I'd love to hear it. I also have another issue.. The skin calls window.Repaint() a lot when mousing over the window, causing the spectrum analyzer to essentially freeze. Anything that can be done to fix or limit that? |
