MPEG-4 Lossless Standard?

Does anyone know if anything is happening with the idea of a lossless standard for MPEG-4, and have any thoughts on what it means for other lossless formats?  Thanks.

I guess it's too early to expect concrete results right now, because they were still collecting proposals and appropriate sound files for testing them until last December, so it will take a few more months until a public statement will be issued. But there will probably be a lossless format with simulcast properties (combined with a lossy AAC codec) within the MPEG-4 standard that's at least as good as Monkey's Audio (regarding the compression factor).
