.APE files in Adobe Audition 3.0

is there a .APE plug-in/codec for Adobe Audition? I can't seem to find it anywhere. it doesn't recognise .ape files.

this may seems a dumb question, but why do I need to install the program to get the CoolEdit Plugin.flt? can I just get plugin?

The plugin is contained within the installer (self-extracting archive). If the plugin is not available separately elsewhere, you may be able to open the installer with an unarchiving application of some sort. But it's probably much simpler to just install it.

I'd  try installing, copying the flt to the AA folder, and uninstalling.
Ceterum censeo, there should be an "%is_stop_after_current%".
