Earlier today I had "Mr. Tough" by Yo La Tengo in my head. That was at least pleasant.

But last night I was at IKEA and they had "Lovefool" by the Cardigans.
BAAAHHH

I recently discovered Joanna Newsom. I really like The Decemberists' "Bridges and Balloons", which, to my surprise, turns out to be a cover of her song.

At the moment "Peach, Plum, Pear" gets played at least a few times day. "Sprout and The Bean" was being played more. I must admit that I haven't taken to her other songs nearly so much.

I've never heard of her before. Is she popular in the US? She still seems quite "low key".

A work colleague had that as his ring tone a couple of years ago. That intro would be in my head all time, thankfully I quite like it. If you like her you might also like CocoRosie, Werewolf is a great track.
