http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=LossyWAV says:
QUOTE -q, --quality <t> where t is one of the following (default = standard): I, insane highest quality output, suitable for transcoding; E, extreme higher quality output, suitable for transcoding; H, high high quality output, suitable for transcoding; S, standard default quality output, considered to be transparent; C, economic intermediate quality output, likely to be transparent; P, portable good quality output for DAP use, may not be transparent; X, extraportable lowest quality output, not fully transparent. lossyWAV 1.1.0c says: QUOTE -I, --insane highest quality output, suitable for transcoding; -E, --extreme high quality output, also suitable for transcoding; -S, --standard default quality output, considered to be transparent; -P, --portable good quality output for DAP use. Not considered to be fully transparent, but considered fit for its intended purpose. Are the additional parameters listed in the wiki deprecated? If yes, maybe someone should delete them from the wiki? |

Look at the box to the right - it says "Stable release: 1.3.0". That should answer your question. The additional parameters were introduced with version 1.2.0 and 1.3.0.

sorry, I missed that. I don't know how I ended up with an old version.
is there any description of the --zero parameter somewhere? EDIT: QUOTE I don't know how I ended up with an old version. OK, I found out. The wiki page quoted above says (in the box @ top/right): "Website: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....st&p=577042" which points to the 1.1.0c version. Thanks for reporting that; I’ve replaced the link to the outdated thread with those for the 1.3.0 ones.

thank you, db1989.
what about the --zero parameter? It's mentioned in the table here but not in the help/usage. |

That should be changed too. --zero has been replaced by --extraportable. |

Done! Thanks for spotting those. Would anyone be interested in signing up for the Knowledgebase?
