I've decided to turn my entire CD collection in ALAC using iTunes. I am using the default configuration for Itunes, having changed nothing except to tell it to do lossless.
Now, I also want to be able to have these files on another Ipod. My question is as follows: If I turn these CD's into ALAC for one ipod, one account, can I simply copy the ALAC files from the computer and place them onto another, so that I can import them into a different ipod/account? Thanks. |

iTunes has never used DRM on user-encoded files, either lossy or lossless.
