I had to reinstall the George Yohng wrapper and Classic EQ after a new computer build.

I followed the directions in the readme. GY wrapper and Classic EQ dll appear in programs/foobar/components

but I cannot see to activate Classic EQ in the DSP setup.

Please give some step by step troubleshooting on this.

Fb2k installed is the new 1.1.12

You should activate George Yohng wrapper and then select Classic EQ in the settings of the wrapper (icon in the tray area).

Thanks for answering.

I have found a more complete solution.

It is in this tutorial which I include for the benefit of others:

http://www.doctormowinckel.com/?p=551

It includes screen shots needed for the step by step install of the wrapper.

The step I missed was to create a folder in Fb2k program folder called VST in which to store the plugins.
Without that folder (as described in the how to above) the wrapper does not see any plugins.

When I completed this step, Classic EQ installed and was available for use. It is odd that the GY wrapper readme does not, as I recall, mention this vital step. Folder name for plugins is not critical. Once made you use Fb2k to navigate to it as described in the tutorial.
