Samples Dynamic Range Metal

For a post somewhere about here: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....st&p=844876

I tried to support my argument by grabbing two pieces of music from my collection that feature a fade-out to infinity with the fade-out done before applying limiting, so they feature severely limited material as well as material that has not been influenced by a limiter, while being from the same master and being fairly similar.

The original files had a DR of 3 (Gojira - In The Wilderness) and 4 (Mercenary - Lost Reality) while these excerpts measure DR 10. I've added a screendump to make clear what I did.

Music: sounds arranged such that they construct feelings.
