Will the ALAC input be updated to allow the HDCD plugin to work?

Group: Members Posts: 165 Joined: 21-February 03 From: NY Member No.: 5116	Is there any chance the ALAC input is going to be updated to allow the HDCD plugin to work? I'm in a tight spot, in that I can't transcode my entire library to FLAC because i have an iPhone but I'd like to be able to take advantage of the HDCD on some of my albums. The closest thing to a workaround i've thought of are these: 1) transcode to a 24bit ALAC (using DBpoweramp to decode HDCD) - the downside is wasted space on my iPhone 2) make a FLAC copy of the HDCDs - the downside is duplicates and wasted space also, its difficult to do either, because in their current ALAC format, the HDCD scanner won't identify them.
