Hi, i have an abit nf7-s with nforce2 chipset and soundstorm audio technology onboard.
Does it support 32 bit floating point output? I can't find anything useful on the techincal specifications...

No card supports true 32 bit data internally, as much they can process 24 bit internally. They can accept 32 bit data in their drivers, but their actual performance is far from that. Even in cards that do support 24 bit internally, the actual performance is equivalent to as much as 20 bit, in case of very expensive cards. For usual 24 bit semi-pro cards, the performance is around 17 or 18 bit.

So, 24 bit output is fine. In fact, 16 bit is fine too for just reproduction, I doubt anyone could tell the difference with 24 bit under usual listening conditions.
