Hi, I'd like to know if there's a program that can make loops from .mp3 files without re-encoding them, I'd like to have a waveform view as in Sound Forge to select the exact points and be able to pre-listen to the loop, I can do this in Sound Forge but I need to re-encode them again to .mp3 when I save them, I need to make loops from several mp3's for a remix project

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks, but I forgot to mention that I have used mp3DirectCut and even though it's great for splitting mp3's from a .cue file I can't manage to "preview" loops on it by selecting a region, I'd like to preview them in order to check I have a seamlees loop, or it's not even possible a seamless loop on a mp3 file?

It's not possible since MP3 always has some silence at the beginning and end. You'd be best opening it in Sound Forge then making your loop and saving it as FLAC or something.

You'll need gapless playback if you want seamless loops. Not all software supports that.
